Tiger Tops Tharu Lodge

Situated on the western edge of Chitwan National Park, Tharu Lodge is a wonderfully peaceful retreat offering a high standard of accommodation. You can choose between a spacious lodge room, built from local materials using traditional techniques, or opt for a safari tent giving a more intimate connection with nature but without compromising on comfort. All rooms have attached bathrooms and attractive furnishings. In addition, there is a landscaped swimming pool and a communal dining area serving delicious meals produced with ingredients from their own organic gardens. The lodge has several resident naturalists leading a full programme of wildlife activities: you can choose to go birdwatching, take a boat ride, enjoy a jeep safari or walk alongside an elephant, but for that real moment of animal magic, enjoy your sundowner whilst watching the lodge's own elephants have their evening bath in the river.
