Tea Trails Bungalows

Ceylon Tea Trails are a collection of five colonial era tea planter's bungalows dotted around the idyllic Bogawantala Valley in the highlands of Sri Lanka. Each bungalow has its own unique character but all have been impeccably restored and offer a range of marquee services including private butlers, in-room spa treatments, large swimming pools and palatial rooms that have breathtaking views of the surrounding misty hills. Walking, cycling or rafting are all available activities and you can also tour a working tea factory. The bungalows embrace the time-honoured planters’ traditions: 'bed tea', roaring fires and a stiff gin and tonic after a long day’s walk in the tea gardens. The food is superb, and produced with a personal touch, from a full English breakfast, to a picnic lunch, to a traditional afternoon tea and an indulgent four-course dinner.
