From your initial enquiry to your return home we are committed to giving the best possible service - we want to ensure that you have the best holiday experience. Here is what we provide prior to departure:

Holiday dossier

Once you have booked a holiday with us we send you a comprehensive holiday dossier that gives you all the information you need to prepare for your trip including: visa requirements, information on medical matters, suggested equipment and clothing lists, advice on physical preparation, tips on responsible travel, discount offers with outdoor gear retailers and a relevant reading list.

Pre-trip meets

Normally each year we offer four meets for clients who have booked holidays with Mountain Kingdoms. These are a great way to meet fellow travellers and some of the Mountain Kingdoms team, and to ask any questions you have.

We organise a 9/10-mile walk in the Cotswolds, ending at a local pub for tea, biscuits and a presentation. Full details of how to book your place/s will be sent with your dossier once you have booked your holiday, and includes a list of local B&Bs. Places are limited for each meet so do book early.

Insurance

It is essential that you have adequate valid travel insurance for your holiday. We can offer UK residents a Mountain Kingdoms designed single trip Travel Insurance Policy, available through our insurance brokers, Campbell Irvine.

Free kit bag or Water-to-Go bottle

Everyone trekking with Mountain Kingdoms is provided with a free Water-to-Go bottle or kit bag. The kit bag is durable and water-resistant with a capacity of around 80 litres, it's perfect for surviving the general wear and tear of adventure travel. Please refer to our detailed day by day itineraries for more detail.

The additional cost of delivering kit bags outside the UK or to the Channel Islands will be added to your confirmation invoice.
